Trainspotting 2 On The Track(mark)s.

As if the first one wasn't bad enough:

The book of Porno was poorly-written misogynistic, misanthropic crap with sick shit in it to titillate middle classhole trauma voyeurs. Can't wait to see the scene where Spud and his pedophile pal rape and kick the crap out of an alcoholic woman with shit in her knickers. Should win Ewen Bremner the Oscar nominatio, I should think.

And on an Irvine Welsh note, you might find this vaguely interesting:

The good news is that it solves a problem I've been having. Trainspotting works good for a Saturday night marathon because it leaves you wanting more but I'm coming up with a blank with regards to another movie with a look and feel of Trainspotting. I am thinking about going with Fight Club but that lacks the grit, besides the ending is far too hokey. "Porno" may help things, any suggestions?

I can't actually think of any films like Trainspotting offhand, but here is some cinema I have enjoyed recently, have included links to the Amazon pages as the user reviews are usually spot-on:

finding another bad movie ("A little bit crazy and a little bit bad, but hey - don't all us girls just love that?") with a prettyboy actor heroin-chic 90s Britpop vibe through it. Want a good, harsh, wild movie? Try The Manson Family by Jim VanBebber (it hurts):
