Darwin's Goliath Centipede

This is the world's largest species of centipede, found in Peru and the Galapagos Islands. I recall seeing a video of this species of centipede hanging from the ceilings of caves to grab small bats in mid-air.

I'm not sure about this particular species, but large centipedes do turn up in the exotic animal trade, for instance

You can also probably catch your own giant centipedes if you live in the southwestern US (I saw one in Arizona years ago that was a good 10" long). They seem very nervous and aggressive compared to laid-back tarantulas and scorpions, doubt they would do very well in captivity.
