bit of a long story to that photo.. and the others with it.
which I hope to tell in full at the EBSN Tanger Conference....
I met the writer Melville Hardiment back in the late 70s and, when trying to get back in contact, found out he had died a few years ago and that his wife who took the photo lived in South London. Being a Londoner as well it has meant we have been able to meet up quite a few times now.
Harriet has lent me the negatives to get some prints done and, with a bit of luck they'll get a gallery show somehow or other. There are some Paris ones of Gysin as well. And Beiles. But now I come to think of it none of Burroughs in Paris... I must check that out with Harriet.
